Hello everyone, today I will be sharing a tribute to my brother. I grew up having a supportive brother. In challenging times, I didn’t know who to look up to besides my brother. A brother isn’t only family but he is more like a loving person in my life. When I was younger I always viewed my brother as being uninterested and absent in my life. I viewed him this way because I thought he didn’t care or think about me. When I grew up I started to realize I was wrong. I turned out to be a very lucky person having an older sibling. When I was younger my parents were very busy with work and my brother was the only person to guide me. He helped me prepare for school almost every day and helped me conquer my fears. When I had homework I didn’t know how to do it and I started to stress out about it but my brother was there every time to calm me down and help me.
My brother is a very special person to me because he is supportive, kind, and helpful. If it weren’t for my brother’s help in preparing me, I would’ve been unsure and not know what high school to go to or what scholarship to apply for. People usually see the big things in helping others. I saw all the little things he did for me and I am extremely thankful for that. When I do something bad he explains what is right and what is wrong. He played soccer with me and introduced some new and interesting sports to me, which I still love to play today. He taught me so much- not including academics -that I don’t know how to repay him. As the years went on, he and I built up our friendship to the maximum level.
I am the youngest child and my brother is the middle child. My brother and I were born five years apart but still treat each other the same. When we grew up, we both had our ups and downs. In the ups, we spent time together while in the downs we worked out what we had to do and worked together. When I was younger, my brother was like a dad to me because he was an older role model that respected what I had to say and spent time with me.
Rafal, you helped me in very difficult times of my life. Our friendship is something more than being a friend or someone special. Sometimes I sit and wonder what I would do without your help and positivity. I probably would not be as successful as I am today without your care and inspiration. It might not sound like a lot but I mean it from the bottom of my heart. I chose to write about you because I never gave you anything more than a thank you. I want you to know that I am extremely grateful you are my brother.
