Bigfoot is a 7 to 8 ft hairy animal. Bigfoot got his name from some loggers that found his tracks and called him accordingly. Bigfoot is mostly seen in the woods. Although some people think bigfoot is real I disagree. Despite these claims that bigfoot is real that is simply not true.
One of the reasons that Bigfoot is not real is because the photos that are taken of him are often blurry. An example of this is from The Sacramento Bee articles labeled Couple photographs beast moving outside a train in Colorado. “I think it’s Bigfoot” BY TJ MACIAS. Some experts even examined these types of photos of bigfoot and backed up that the pictures are not enough evidence that these can be true photos.
Another reason bigfoot is not real is because there is no physical evidence. What I mean by physical evidence is there is no hair, bones or even feces. The evidence that was found and was claimed to be Bigfoot turned out to be from animals we already know. So even if he is real there is no found evidence.
One more reason that bigfoot is just a myth is because most photos that are believed to be bigfoot are from people’s personal account. Making it not reliable evidence. They can post photos that look like bigfoot just for clout.
Another reason that bigfoot is not real is that the way people describe bigfoot is different. Some people say he looks more like an animal some say he looks more human than he does animal. If you were to describe a pig you would say something like pink, small tail, and short legs. Although for Bigfoot this does not happen there is always an alliteration with his looks.
Yet another reason that bigfoot is not real is that for a creature as large as bigfoot to go unnoticed in the woods would be almost impossible. That being because he would need a lot of food to survive. We would see berries start to go away we would see bear and other large mammals populations go down because of bigfoots eating diet that scientist suppose Bigfoot would eat.
Another thing to make a factor is that bigfoot is folklore and a myth. For instance Native Americans had a similar myth it was called a “sasquatch” or a “skookum”. As the Myths get passed down through generations it gets altered a little every time making what we all know now as bigfoot.
If we take a look at the science behind bigfoot we see that bigfoot is seen as an urban legend which almost automatically catches the attention of someone. Also the fact that it is a mystery about an unknown animal can attract someone to try to find out if it’s real or fake. This making someone see “evidence” even though its not real they will see right through that making them think that Bigfoot is real.
In conclusion, even though bigfoot is a cool concept it is just not true. First with the sketchy photos then the missing physical evidence to the difference in the way people perceive Bigfoot. All the way down to the psychology of the myth. Although Bigfoot is a cool urban legend from the information we learned he is just not real.
