Introduction
In the new age of gaming, there are a multitude of different genres to choose from. Whether you’d want to play a strategy game that makes you think critically about your situation, or a simulation game that lets you live a different life. Whatever niche or topic you most enjoy, there’s probably a game for that. The types of games you can play also depend on what device you use. However, regardless of your game style preferences or device, you’ll find something you’ll enjoy.
Video games typically have a bad rep, but to me, playing video games is a way to unwind and escape the stress in my life. One game that helps with that, and that you should play, is 99 Nights in the Forest on Roblox. This game is multiplayer or solo-player, and you can play in parties of up to 5. Once you start the game, you are automatically given an old sack that has enough space for 5 items and an old axe. To start your fire, you have to cut down trees and gather the wood to put it into your fire. Every time you level up your fire, the map expands. However, be cautious, as there is a monster that attacks at night. Since you can’t fight back, if you shine a light in its face, you will stun it for about 5 seconds. As you explore, you may find items with emojis above them. Items with the nail and bolt emoji are used for the crafting table, items with the fire emoji are used for the fire, and items with the spoon and fork emoji can be eaten to replenish your health. Also, keep in mind that there are children you can save to make days go by faster.
Now that I’ve given you the basics on how to play the game, I’m going to give you reasons to play the game.
Teamwork Building.
Being put in a group setting isn’t easy. There’s always a chance someone will not do any work or not give you the space to voice your opinions. But teamwork is a valuable skill everyone should have. You will always run into group projects or settings, and you have to learn how to manage them. This is why you should play 99 Nights in the Forest, because it helps you prepare ahead for things of that nature.
This is why it’s such a good teamwork game, because it forces you to rely on one another and to play your part. According to Electroiq, working together and peer coaching increases productivity in individuals by 88%. This, in turn, makes you open up and communicate with your team on how to survive.
Sense of Purpose
Most teenagers like myself often struggle with knowing what they want to do in life. They may even feel powerless. But 99 Nights in the Forest gives you a sense of purpose in your team. It also gives you the freedom to create your roles while offering options for classes. Classes give you items or power-ups to help you in the game. To buy a class, you use diamonds. You get diamonds by finding them in chests around the map or buying them with Robux. Examples of classes include assassin, lumberjack, ranger, cook, medic, camper, and scavenger. Each class gives you an item and quests to level up your class. For example, medics get 2 bandages to heal their team members. This, plus the classes, is another reason why 99 Nights in the Forest gives you a sense of purpose. By giving yourself a role, you feel more inclined to fill that position and follow through to help your team.
Conclusion
I know you’re probably thinking, “How is this game any fun?” Well, I have just the answer to that question. This game allows you to play with friends or make friends. It also helps you build teamwork skills and makes you think of teamwork or group activities more positively. The point of any game is for the player to have fun as well as take something away from playing. Just like books, games leave you with lingering experiences or feelings you may not even notice. Not only does 99 Nights in the Forest allow you to build upon teamwork skills, but it also gives you a sense of purpose while having fun. All of these reasons and more are why you should play the game 99 Nights in the Forest.
