My passion is mostly related to music, I love playing on the guitar and connecting the world to music. Most of my life I spent time learning how to play different songs on the guitar. I was practicing every day to get better, to show my friends that I’m really good at it. Having an ability to master one of the musical instruments like the guitar will help you to get better at understanding the reality of life, because you will get to experience a lot of situations where you will meet a lot of people that have the same passion as you and will try to collaborate and create music together. Having strong connections with other people that have the same interest as you is really fun, especially when you have a band or a group of people who are willing to create new songs, music, and others.
Also, another reason why you should start playing the guitar is that when you are at any event you might get asked to play on the guitar, which makes you the star of the night. You will get respect from so many people, and you will be famous in your field. Later on, you can expand your learnings and try to post something on social media, and get attention from there. So having a good connection with music will help you to get a better connection with people and the world. So I would consider starting to play the guitar and learn a lot of songs to impress everyone.
Another good reason to start playing guitar is that it helps with your emotions. When you are sad or having challenges in life, you can just take a guitar and start playing. For me, music helps me to keep myself focused and can gather my thoughts together. Sometimes, I can just play for hours and forget about daily problems, such as homework, studying for tests, social media problems etc. Guitar is basically like a friend for me as you can talk and answer in music, that’s one of the ways musicians can play music together.
Also, when you play guitar, you become more creative. You start creating your own sound, music, and even writing your own songs. Playing on the guitar helps you to use your imagination more. You can experiment with different styles of music like rock, pop, jazz, blues, or even classical. I prefer more jazz music because I like the way you can easily create your own lines of music as I usually do. Every time you play a guitar, you learn new strategies, chords, songs, you are getting better and better, you are getting experienced and you are getting used to the guitar, which keeps your brain active and sharp. You are always improving.
Everything sounds very good about playing on the guitar, but you have to understand that, there is no success without sacrifices. You might face with some problems at the beginning of your journey such as: blisters on your fingers, your wrist might hurt, it might be hard to press on strings, if you don’t know how, you can struggle with placing a couple fingers at the same time which called chords, but no matter what obstacles you might face with, im guarantee you, it will worth it. All of these challenges are nothing, if you would actually want to learn how to play on the guitar.
There are lots of ways to get started and I would recommend starting with buying a guitar, which can cost you $70 for not a very good one, but good enough for start. I learned how to play the guitar by watching different youtube guides, and a strategy that you can use is , and learning from them, later I went to music school for 3 years and then I moved to the United States because of the war in Ukraine. So to summarize what I just wrote in this paragraph, the best way to start playing on the guitar is to watch different youtube videos and join a music school or find a good private teacher.
So for all these reasons, I believe learning to play the guitar is one of the best things you can do because it brings happiness, new friends, respect and creativity. Anyone who starts playing guitar will find that it changes their life in a good way, just like it changed mine. So if you are thinking about trying something new, I would really recommend a guitar and give it a try.
