When I was at Six Flags, I was in line for Goliath with my sister. After 30 minutes of waiting in line, I felt like it was never going to end. I was so tired and annoyed that the line wasn’t moving, and I even thought of leaving the whole park. When we finally approached the ride, I was hoping that the wait was not a waste of my time. My sister and I finally got to ride Goliath, and I felt the happiest I ever felt. When I got off, I felt like a whole new person. All of my stress was relieved, and I was so energized that I wanted to go on the next roller coaster as soon as possible.
My favorite roller coaster at Six Flags is Raging Bull and American Eagle. Raging Bull is a smooth two-hundred-foot-tall B&M coaster that has a top speed of 73 miles per hour. This ride has a bunch of hills that give you a ton of airtime. The American Eagle is a tall wooden roller coaster that races with a 147-foot drop that goes up to 66 miles per hour. In celebration of Six Flags’ 50th Anniversary, they opened both tracks ever since 1981. When the American Eagle was built, it was the tallest wooden roller coaster in the world. The reason these coasters are my favorite is because they both have tons of twists and turns and hills that give me airtime. The airtime gives me a stomach-drop feeling, which is a temporary state of weightlessness caused by a rapid drop. I love this feeling because it gives me the adrenaline rush that relieves my stress and problems. If you are an adrenaline junkie like me, you will definitely love that feeling.
Even though roller coasters are exciting, some people may have anxiety and fear when it comes to roller coasters. Some people have it due to fear of heights or the speed of the roller coaster. There is a really small percentage of roller coaster accidents, which is why I think it is a great idea to overcome your fears and try roller coasters because it is definitely worth it. Try to imagine seeing the city from a distance and the lights from all the roller coasters at night time. When you drop, you feel the wind and get that adrenaline feeling. During the middle of the ride, you feel like you are in a whole new world experiencing airtime and the g-force. After the ride, you are the happiest you ever felt; all of a sudden, you don’t feel upset anymore, and your anxiety levels have dropped.
Roller coasters are known to give you an adrenaline rush, which excites your brain and gets you energized; it is ultimately a mega mood booster for most people. It can also help you feel relieved and lets you forget about most of your worries. My favorite thing about a roller coaster is the adrenaline rush feeling; it gets me in a happy mood and makes my stress levels lower. If fear has ever stopped you from getting on a roller coaster, you might have missed out on one of the best experiences of your life.
