ICE: The Modern Day Gestapo

ICE. (Immigration and Customs Enforcement) They are the task force designated to protect our beautiful nation from dangerous, and horrifying criminals. But is that really what they are doing now? Or have they perhaps forgotten their role in this Nation. You see they are nowadays acting more and more like the Gestapo. ICE are the new, modern day Gestapo. 

The Gestapo was a secret police force/oppression group founded by Nazis in Germany in 1933. It was made to intimidate, suppress political enemies, enforce outrageous policies and torture millions of people. They violated multiple human rights and later were convicted of serious war crimes. ICE is no different. 

They go out in the streets masked up in tactical gear and gas masks, acting as if they were entering a warzone. They are in armed cars, and unmarked cars as if they were the secret service or army. This is not immigration enforcement, this is pure, unfiltered intimidation. 

Can you imagine seeing your own mother or father, being pinned to the ground whilst begging for mercy and peace, while also being shouted at with multiple hateful words? Using the word “Illegals” as a derogatory term to make immigrants seem inferior to others. When all these people want is a chance to work hard and to advocate for their families. They go out and separate millions of families and communities, and traumatize millions of people for life. 

Calling them acts of hate is an understatement. This is pure evil from the depths of Hell itself. This is unethical, immoral, and a disease that has sprouted in our Nation.

Also like the Gestapo, they also violate many of our countries’ amendments and basic rights. Such as the first amendment which states that all people in the United States, have the basic right to freedom of speech and press. Many news outlets are censoring what ICE does and are trying to water down the severity of this, but the truth is that this is a very huge problem within our nation and we must address it. 

The problem is that instead of going after legitimate criminals, they are going after the hard working people. This is not making our country stronger and superior, rather it is making it weaker, and inferior. We need these hard working people who build, nourish, and cure our nation.

World War Two taught us a very important and clear message and that is if we let hate spill out into the world, the world will become a toxic wasteland. This is no different. 

Many people would argue that immigrants came here illegally, and that they do not belong here, but is that really a valid reason for the inhumane way we treat them? No it is not. Even our very own Declaration of Independence agrees. It clearly states that all men (referring to everyone) are created equal. So to those who argue that immigrants are less of people, try talking to our founding fathers and see what they have to say about this. 

The solution? To stop the discrimination against people of color, and to value the hard working people here. The United States would not function without immigrants. In fact this mere country was founded as an asylum for those seeking refuge and fleeing oppression. Let the good, hard working people come, and know how to distinguish the difference. 

Be proud to be a citizen of a country where millions wished they lived in and don’t take my word for it, take it from the millions of immigrants who came to this country, looking for better opportunities.
