Hello past self! There are many mistakes or bad outcomes that could have been avoided. I understand you believe that asking for help my be seen as a sign of weakness. Well it is not! It is building the people around you. People often write and talk about the power of appreciation. And although you may not have considered it, asking for help is a way to show people that you trust their ideas, feel confident in their skills, and cherish their advice. What I want you to know is you have many brilliant and cooperative family and peers around that want you to improve and grow. Never be scared to ask for help when you are stuck on a topic or challenge. In time, I realized that asking for help and working among my peers and friends really had a great effect on my work, I had the same, if not, less effect of when I worked by myself. Asking for help can be difficult. It can chip away at our pride, make us question our own abilities, create anxiety, make us appear weak. But it doesn’t have to. Because asking for help can also do something else, it can help us create better results.
