There are many people that we used to look up to, but they quickly leave us. Or some stay and continue to stay no matter what. My parents are the “some” that will never leave me or my sisters alone. A tribute is something that you say,do, or make to show your admiration and respect for someone. Now finally understanding the meaning, I would like to “make a” tribute to my parents. Even if you never met or even seen my parents, if you would have met them, I believe you will understand why they mean so much to me!
What is the meaning of a mother? The definition of a mother is the one who loves you unconditionally from your first heartbeat till her last breath, the one who will always be on your side no matter what and the one you could not live without. My mother is a mother of 3 children, a 14 year old, 11 year old and 9 year old. My mother is always there when I face many obstacles or when I have to make a big decision. Even though she has 3 kids she tries her best to provide necessary material. Not only is she my mother, she is also my best friend, teacher and mentor. I will forever remember the times we will go in the room and talk about gossip, whether about school or on random stuff, going to our favorite store; Ross on the weekend.
My mother is a very caring, respectful, responsible, sweet and intelligent person. My mother went to college and graduated as a medical assistant. She inspires me by going to college or going to a university, to graduate. My mom is the most strong and powerful woman I have ever met. She inspires me by believing in myself and having more confidence in myself. I will never forget how I got the interview for the HFS scholarship. She was preparing me for the best news and the worst. I perfectly remember my mother telling me that if I don’t get it, to not be sad and to be proud that I had an opportunity to get a second scholarship, but she will always believe in me and also my father. I ended up getting the scholarship!
What is the meaning of a father? The definition of a father is someone who gives great advice and is always encouraging and very protective, which is like a superhero. My dad is literally the only man in our house and he’s the head of the house. My father is the most hardworking person I have ever met! My father faces many challenges, due to his kidney transplant and other medical conditions. He is my greatest inspiration to continue succeeding in life. The first reason is because my father never got to graduate high-school due to his kidney transplant at age 17. Therefore when I graduate high-school, I want my father to feel like he graduated through me. The second reason is because my dad has other health problems and even so, he finds the strength to work very hard to provide for me and my family and I admire him for that. My dad and I have a great relationship with each other. We love to watch action movies, play sports, go to baseball games, go get a cup of coffee and most of all, go grocery shopping! I am lucky that I was given the best father in the world, a father who truly loves me with all his heart.
Through the years, loved ones will travel in and out of my life. Some will teach me valuable lessons that will help me grow. Some will make me laugh. Some will make me cry and some will make me a better person, simply by having them in my life, but my parents will always leave footprints in my heart. I will always be forever grateful and changed.
