The Truth Behind the Shape of the Earth

Hello. Yes YOU! I am talking to everyone who believes that the Earth is flat, not round. The news you have been watching, and the social media that has told you that the earth is flat, don’t listen to what they say when they have no scientific research to back up what they say. You. You may be thinking, “Doesn’t everybody know the Earth isn’t flat.” Even though you think everybody knows this, there are still people who don’t. The Earth has and never been flat; it is a sphere, and we have substantial scientific evidence to support this fact. Scientific research will now shut down the idea that the Earth is not flat, and support this claim, and have everyone know that the Earth was never flat, but has always been round.

One of the most crucial pieces of evidence is the observations made during the period of lunar eclipses. When the Earth casts a shadow on the Moon, the shape of the shadow is always round. This consistent occurrence aligns with the Earth being a sphere. In addition, the phenomenon of gravity can only be explained if the Earth is a sphere. Gravity pulls objects toward the center of mass, and this force acts regularly in all directions, which is consistent with a spherical Earth.

Moreover, we have witnessed numerous space missions and satellite images that show a spherical Earth. Astronauts who have traveled to space have taken pictures of our planet from different angles, clearly displaying its round shape. Even satellite images, including those from weather satellites and navigation systems, consistently show a spherical Earth. These undeniable images perceived from the sky show that as a whole, the Earth is indeed round. There is also the fact that the curve of the Earth is also visible when observing distant objects at sea, where ships continually disappear over the horizon due to the Earth’s curve.

Furthermore, we have circumnavigated the Earth in different directions, both eastward and westward, which would not be possible on a flat plane. As travelers journeyed around the world, they consistently returned to their starting point, indicating a spherical Earth. If the Earth were flat, we would expect some irregularity or inconsistencies in these global circumnavigations. The first person to ever circumnavigate the globe was Ferdinand Magellan. Ferdinand Magellan expedited and uncovered the fact that the Earth was indeed spherical in 1519 to 1522. If Earth was flat, Ferdinand Magellan would have never been able to journey across the whole globe, and come back to where he first started.

In conclusion, the formidable evidence from various scientific regulations, including astronomy, physics, and space exploration, strongly bolsters the fact that the Earth is not flat but rather a spherical planet. All this undeniable evidence has all been accumulated, and has now turned into one certain fact. Now, for once and for all we all can say and be assured that all this evidence has pointed into one direction, and this direction is towards the fact that the Earth is rather not flat, but round.
