TBT (Turn Back Time)

Dear past self, Life is going to be a rollercoaster. Sometimes you have ups and sometimes you have downs but there’s always a solution to your problems. Some things that I know now that I wish you knew then is to study instead of just learning the material one day and forgetting about it the next day, don’t be too mean to my sibling, and keep strong friendships. These are all important because if you don’t study, then the material or work that you get in class may be difficult and you might regret not taking time out of your day to focus on studies. Another reason why this is important is because always studying and staying focused is another step toward success. Remember being kind to others, especially your siblings, will make your bond stronger. Another thing to remember is to not take your friends for granted; keep the friendships you have because they will be a source of joy and support throughout your life.

Another thing I wish I had known sooner was how important it is to take care of your physical and mental health. Make time for exercise, eat foods with nutrients, and get enough sleep. Don’t ignore your mental well being, make self care activities a priority that bring you happiness and help you to relax. Also, don’t be afraid to take risks and step out of your comfort zone. Most valuable experiences in life come from trying new things and going over your limits. Accept failure as a learning opportunity and don’t give up. Never let fear hold you back from doing something that you are excited about but have second thoughts to do them. Always remember to believe in yourself and your talents to do something that you are passionate about. You are capable of achieving great things. Take on challenges and never give up on your dreams even when you feel like quitting.

Some solutions to the bad outcomes I’ve stated are being more kind to my siblings and keeping long friendships. Things that can strengthen your relationship with your siblings are not always arguing after every little disagreement because of course you are always going to have disagreements, but it shouldn’t be so bad to the point where it starts to break your relationship. Instead, after every disagreement you should apologize to your sibling and try to find a solution you both can agree on. Another thing that can strengthen your relationship with your siblings is always checking in on them. Checking in on your siblings is important because you can know more about how they are feeling or what they are going through. This could help you connect more with your sibling.

Keeping good, long friendships is important because when you need someone to talk to other than your siblings or your counselor, friends are here for you to talk to. There are so many ways on how to maintain a stable and strong friendship. A way to maintain a strong friendship is always checking on your friends. Checking on your friends is important because not only do they listen to you but you can also listen to them to see how they feel so you can build a stronger relationship with them. Another solution to keeping a stable friendship is to show appreciation to your friend for always being there for you whenever you need them and always listening to what you have to say. This can help to maintain long and happy friendships.

Always remember to do your best and never let anyone tell you you can’t do something. Chase your dreams and do what you love, always keep your head up and don’t let failure get in the way of stopping you from doing something you love and achieving your dreams!
