To 7th grade Milan, I know besides a few things 7th grade is terrible right now. You don’t feel included or wanted with those certain people but also you need to learn others boundaries and learn how to read people’s body language and learn when to put an end to the things you say and do. Leaving those people will make you feel very better and I’m here to tell you why. I know you can do it even when it takes a lot of courage. You are very strong and independent.
I know it hurts when you see that whatever you do to even try to be included you can’t. Better friends will see when you aren’t feeling included. Once you hang around people that actually show you that they want you around, you will start to feel better about your 7th grade year. Watching them whisper and laugh about things you don’t know about and when you ask them they say nothing or ignore you is very painful and this is exactly why you should center yourself around new people before the rest of the school year which will continue to go bad if you don’t fix it now. When you have friends like that it’s obvious that they don’t care about you or the way you feel. But this experience will soon help you grow as a person and even mature even if you don’t realize that just yet. This experience will eventually be a learning experience for you even if you don’t like it and in the future you will be ok.
Another thing that you need to work on is leaving others alone when they don’t wanna be playful or joking. You need to understand that everything isn’t funny or a joke and people can actually be annoyed and hurt from your actions. Things you say and do can affect people and make them not want to be bothered by you. Learn how to see others emotions and learn when it’s time to stop by the time you learn that others will eventually want to be your friend because of your real and pure personality. When people know you for just being playful and joking all the time they won’t take you seriously, may not want to be around you and also feel cautious about saying and doing certain things around you and that’s not what you want if you want genuine friends. You need to show people that you actually care about them and care about how they feel and learn when to lay the jokes down for a moment. You also need to learn how to be serious in moments that need seriousness. The good things about adapting these traits is people will actually start liking you for you, people will actually want to talk and be around you no matter what and people will even learn when to take you seriously because when you joke around all the time people will always think your joking or being playful when you actually aren’t.
I’m glad I finally got to speak about this and get this off my chest. Seeing how I am now about to be a freshman in high school, I’m glad with how this is going. I finally feel wanted and glad to be in the place I am now. When I keep pushing to better myself great things come my way. You finally got what you wanted.
