Hello Everyone, today at our gathering I am acknowledging a special person, who has always been a good person to me and everyone else. This person is my granny. She is being honored because she inspired me and many others to become the people we are today. What sets my granny apart from everyone else is her dedication to make others become a better version of themselves.
My lovely granny deserves to have her words spread amongst us. As my family would always say, “NOBODY’S WORD IS STRONGER THAN GODS NOR MY GRANNY’S.” I would immediately agree. She once told me “Regardless of what people say, do you and only do you. You have your own mind and nobody’s mind is better than yours.” She would tell this to anyone, not just me.
A favorite memory I have was when I was taught how to cook. I felt good doing this, I finally accomplished my first meal! My granny has also taught me the importance of kindness and treating everyone with respect. She believes that a simple act of kindness can change someone’s entire day, and I have seen her live by those words. Whether she is helping a family member, encouraging a friend, or simply making someone smile, she always puts others before herself. Watching her has inspired me to do the same in my own life.
Every moment I cherished with my granny was super relevant. I would want many people to experience my granny in another lifetime. She’s a person who is like gold found in a hidden treasure, like another piece to your broken heart, and like an eraser to a pencil. Many others know how far I would love to keep going.
Although she is not here with us today, she’s in my spirit. Never will I go out sad, and never will I go mad because she wouldn’t like that. She says she may not know you but she lives for you. She expects you to go around and share her story and show the world how good of a lady she is.
As I continue to grow, I hope to carry her lessons with me wherever I go. I want to make her proud by working hard in school, helping others, and always staying true to who I am. Even though no one is perfect, I know that if I follow the values my granny has taught me, I will become the person she has always believed I could be. Her love, wisdom, and support will always be a part of me, and I will forever be thankful to call her my granny.
Now that you have heard all about my granny, you shall see why I am the person I am today. No matter where life takes me, I will always remember the lessons my granny taught me and the love she gave me. You should tell your neighbor” You are worth it. Keep going. ” And make sure you insert
