Why am I so angry you ask? I am angry because I really love being able to experience and play video games and really grind them, but then some people choose to instead of experiencing the game they buy it through money. People like this have no real respect for the game, they just play it to become the best at it, not to enjoy it as normal players would. They end up taking all of the fun out of the game just to end up leaving after they pay to beat the game, and it just infuriates me how you became the richest in the game and passed everyone up just to go play other games right after. Another reason that this pisses me off is that it puts normal players at a disadvantage when all the pay to win players are just passing them up like it’s just a normal day. I know this from experience in the fact that I’ve been grinding this specific game whenever I’m in my free time then here comes some guy with like 2 hours of playtime just starts buying the best pets in the game and all the good boost and just starts passing everybody like crazy and it just made me feel like all my effort just went to waste because people like him can just do that whenever they want and there is so many of them thats why its a problem.
Another thing that makes me angry is how game developers keep adding more and more things for people to buy because they know people will spend money on it. Instead of making the game better or adding actual decent updates they just keep making better stuff that costs money and it just continues to get worse every update. It’s like they care more about making money than making an enjoyable game for everyone. You got the people who spend weeks grinding these games and what progress have they made compared to those who spend money, None!
It really If everything can just be bought then what is even the point of spending all that time trying to earn it yourself. I like finally getting something after grinding for a long time because it actually feels rewarding and it makes me happy that I earned it. When someone can just buy it and get literally better things than me it just makes me not want to play a game I’m supposed to love. I know some people are going to say that it’s their money and they can spend it however they want and I get that but when it starts affecting everybody else’s experience then it becomes a problem.
At the end of the day I just think games should be more about grinding for the challenge instead of having it where people can buy literally the best item in the game. Facing the challenge that the game offers is important especially for the patience in grinding and how happy you might be when you achieve something very difficult.
